I've been offered this machine. It is obviously European and hill-and-dale, but other than that, I can't identify it, Euro machines not being my strong suit. All I have is this photo. Mammut? What is the value in the US so I know if the seller is in the ballpark? Thanks in advance.

Close but somewhat different?

French Pathé Grand Concert
This is an extremely rare French Pathé Grand Concert coin-operated gramophone.
There are only a few known to exist. It is fully operational and plays the "hill and dale" Pathé records.
The cabinet is full of these records that come with the machine.
Price $6500 does not include Hart Antique Mall "&" Design Center Sales Associate Melissa.

This was for sale at Vintage sounds in Houston. Not sure if it sold for the asking price

Didn't brianu have one of these featured a while back?

Hi John

It should be a coin op. There were a number of manufacturers in france making these kind of machines. The coin starts the motor, but you need to manually select your record from one of the shelves in the cabinet storage, put it on the turntable, and lower the soundbox onto the record. After the length of a record the machine switches off.

The one in the 1st pic is probably the brand "Ramophone" - should be a logo on the case at the front?

Sidewinder, thanks for the additional info. Turns out the machine was sold before I got to see it, but am told it sold to a dealer so may still be available.
