I am working on my Columbia AH early style first style. This is the one with the offset crank handle, the top mounted speed control, and the horizontally mounted motor. I need to get 2 new springs. I’ve measured them as best I can, but I would like confirmation from someone that has worked on one of these machines before. I think I need pears/pears, 1 inch diameter, and 10 feet in length with a ⅝ inch arbor. I know it’s a pretty geeky/technical graphophone question but does that sound right?
Any recommendations on where to buy these?
Thanks.

Re: Columbia AH - New Mainsprings
I'd recommend the Parliers' store The Phonograph Shop, specifically part # HQ35.
Bought three new springs from this store for my VV-XIV after it ate one, and they work great with plenty of sproing in them. Columbia mainsprings at least when I had to fix a few seem to get weak easily so hopefully fresh ones give better performance.
