Happy birthday David!
I won't say that I hope you get lots of phonographs for your birthday (unless you want to give them all to John ) but I do hope you have a great day!
And thank you once again for all the time & effort you put into keeping us phono-freaks happy too.
It's very much appreciated.
All the best.

Reason: To prevent confusion, as it’s actually the 23rd where Shane is.

Re: HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVID
Thanks guys—although it took me a moment to figure out how many hours Australia is ahead of my time zone...Norman caught me with birthday wishes before I saw this thread and for a moment I thought it was the 23rd (where I am), rather than the 22nd.
Of course, it’s now after midnight in most of Australia.
Here in Boston, it’s 09:42 on the 22nd.
I already got a nice present from Valecnik—an Edison Needle Type Electric label that will soon find it’s way into the stock avatar gallery and record label transparencies thread, and Norman gave me a nice mp3 of “Wang Wang Blues” so I could hear what one of those records sounded like.
...and I see Shane got in a reply before I hit Submit (instead of Preview) on this.
Thanks again!

A very happy birthday to you, David! For a non-phonograph guy, you certainly make significant contributions to the hobby! Best regards,
George P.
