Wow that is a great story, and so glad you got it at what must have been a reasonable price. I am not surprised that the auctioneer had no idea what he had. As these Sonora Art models as you can imagine were sold over 8 decades ago to only the wealthiest of buyers. Very few were sold and only a small percentage of that small number still survive.
