The VV-IV

I just find it interesting how that first tabletop VV-IV at just $ 15.00 would set off what would be the beginnings of a Victrola frenzy. By this time the disc would begin to dominate the record world. I can imagine those having a 2 minute cylinder machines in 1912, and one of the kids coming over to the house and saying that is old...because his or her family just purchased a VV-IV or other disc machine. Today it would be the same, CD vs. Ipod.
