Spring Cleaning

Post by DrGregC »

I indirectly asked this question several weeks ago. What cleaning products are the board members using for regular (daily, weekly, monthly) cleaning of the wood surfaces of their valued machines? Thanks.

Applying cleaning products just builds up layers of wax and traps dirt. I just occasionally dust my machines.
Why do we need signatures when we are on a first avatar basis?

I'm with Brad on this except that I very, very very occasionally dust mine! ;)

Once I've introduced a machine to my collection and done all the necessary cleanng prep. all I will ever do to keep the machine that way, will be simply dusting with dry soft cloth.

No lemon oil, no wax, no nothing.

I must admit, I am the same. Just an occasional dust is all my machines get, unless there are any childrens sticky hand prints on them in which case a good rub with a duster!
