For Sale: Mahogany HMV 511 - £425

As much as it pains me to admit, I have a space problem, and various other career pursuits requiring space means that things have become rather cramped in my 2 bed bungalow, my expert junior already lives in the bedroom, so I need to admit, something has to go, and alas it is my lovely HMV 511
This is an earlier example incorporating one of the converted Lumiere cabinets, this one comes in good conserved condition, original finish, original gold No.4 soundbox and the No.34 quad spring motor has been serviced and regreased, anybody who has serviced a hmv quad spring motor will know it’s no mean feat.
Someone in the past had cut the legs down, the missing sections have been rebuilt and the repair is almost invisible, it has a plaque from where it was originally sold on Grey street in Newcastle, not 10 miles from here
