From whence Hank Williams surely drew inspiration for his version many years later.
Actually the label of my copy of Okeh 41062 just says 'EMMETT MILLER (Assisted by--Dan Fitch)'. I don't know all the names of who's in the orchestra but included in the list are Eddie Lang and the Dorsey brothers. I'm just lucky to have this at all, even though it's well hammered.
Recorded 12 June 1928; matrix W.400783-B.
Enjoy!

You sure can hear the some of the Hank Williams style in that. I'm also reminded of his recording of Long Gone Lonesome Blues.
