16 Inch National Broadcasting Service record

Here is a 16" National Broadcasting Service 33 ⅓ rpm record
Title
Hollywood Radio Theatre
Sub Title
"Santa Claus Jones"staring Charles Ruggles
the 2nd side is the same but the label is in better condition.

Can anyone give me any information about this record.

It's a radio show transcription disc. Old radio shows of the 20s-50s were sometimes recorded live, but if they were announced "Transcribed for radio...", then these discs were used as transcribed recordings. The two sides usually provided enough material for ½ hour radio shows, with a break between for commercials...
