The Old Oaken Bucket played at the Old Oaken Bucket House
A few years ago I actually visited the Old Oaken Bucket House to play the Song "The Old Oaken Bucket", right next to the famous house and the Well that inspired the Poem and the Song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtKg8kvDs-s

Re: The Old Oaken Bucket played at the Old Oaken Bucket Hous
Thank you for posting this. We sang this song in 5th grade, Joseph Jacobs my teacher introduced us to many good old time songs, he could play the piano flawlessly. We sang for 30 minutes every day before we did our studies. I have the Blue Amberol of this song. We also sang Dixie, Old Folks at Home, The Bonnie Blue Flag, M.O.T.H.E.R, Massa's In De Cold Cold Ground, Shoo Fly Pie,The Illinois Song, America, The Star Spangled Banner. In fourth grade we got to shoot muskets, and cannons. Now that is a school to go to.
