"You're the cream in my coffee" played by Jack Hylton and his orchestra. Taken from a HMV pressing. If anyone else has any transfers of this song played by other bands then I'd love to hear them to see how they compare.

Good rendition, Richard. I've seen the Blue Amberol of "You're the cream in my coffee" sell on Ebay for about $3,300.

Richard,
"You're the cream in my coffee" is included in this 1929 radio broadcast featuring Ray Miller and his orchestra.

I have this by Miff Mole and His Little Molers (on Okeh) and by Jesse Crawford on the Wurlitzer organ (on Victor). I will try to post them later.

Adam, i'd love to hear those versions of this great song - I'll look forward to them being posted.

Richard,
It's a line recording. You can find it on the Ray Miller page at Redhotjazz. It's at the bottom of the page, directly beneath the alphabetic list of Miller recordings, along with a few additional, but short, line recordings.

Great version Richard!
But my favorite rendition is by the Golden Gate Orchestra on Edison.

When I try to listen to the recording, I get the following message: "No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it." Is anyone else having the same problem?Paal1994 wrote:Great version Richard!

Rocky,
I get this message: A General Error has occurred. I only get this when I open songs on the Red Hot Jazz web site. Maybe there is something wrong with the site.
