All Hit of the Week recordings can be downloaded from www.archive.org in MP3 format!

The highest quality reissues are available at Archeophone. With 11 GRAMMY nominations with 1 GRAMMY win, they must know what they're doing.

(FWIW, the ones on archive.org are the absolute worst quality I've listen to, and insulting to the ears.)

I have the Archeophone series which is monumental and the sound quality is a work of art! Also the booklets with them are first class!!! Well worth the money if you like the 1930-32 pop music era.

No arguement there. Many of the records on archive.org are over-filtered and over-compressed and sound just horrible. Sometimes though, that is better than nothing.

Here's my archive of 110 regular HOTW issues:

These were recorded from my collection. Not complete, and some were damaged, but it's free.

Enjoy! Cliff

Cliff........I spent most of last night listening to your archive.....love that you recorded them the way they should sound (NOT all "cleaned-up"!)
What fun!!!

By the way, I have at least 105 different regular & several specials & Juniors (including the very rare
A5, Eva Taylor "De' Trouble I've Seen")

Nice! Thanks. Like that you transferred them from your own collection that you sweat and groveled to acquire - rather than ripped them from a commercial CD.
