Annette Hanshaw Records

Post by audiophile102 »

My wife and I are big Annette Hanshaw fans, but I have had to settle for CD's. Her records are quite expensive. I tried to buy them on eBay, but I get out bid every time. She was very popular in her day so there must be quite a few of her records, but the market has priced me out. It's really great that her music is till appreciated. I just wish there were more of her records were for sale at a reasonable price.

I agree, I sold one years ago, and never realized how desirable it was. I wish I kept it...singing in the rain.

Annette was one of the best, just like many popular artist, many records made and high prices.

I have 'Pagan Love Song'/'Ua Like No-A-Like', but it's kinda worn.

My sole Hanshaw record - when I didn't know who she was, and bought solely for the title on one side (I remembered Tiny Tim):

Darn howardpgh beat me to it! :D

Don't forget to search under some of her Pseudonyms such as Patsy Young, Gay Ellis and Dot Dare - Some sellers might not put Annette Hanshaw in the listing. Good Luck!
