BA 27048- "Express Orient"

Post by gramophoneshane »

Here's a French series cylinder I received today, by Garde Republicaine on BA 27048.
It's quite good IMO, as far as descriptive pieces go.

Exellent piece Shane and it sounds great on your Amberola. Isn't it great how inventive they were with the sound effects. I love the train moving off - to be it sounds a bit like a saw slowly cutting wood. I wonder if that it what it really was?

Thanks for posting

Thank you for posting this; I used to be cautious about international series issues, but they interest me more these days, and this is a good example.

Oh that is a scream! And that Amberola is playing very well, there Shane! I love the "..voyageurs pour Paris! En voiture!!" in the middle but I can't catch what he says at the end! heheh
