On 25 June 1907 G&T in the UK and Victor in the USA entered into an agreement under which the two companies divided the world into two trading areas. This label may pre-date that agreement as the record is shown as made by Victor for sale by G&T. No such reference normally appears on later HMV records pressed from Victor matrices.
The record cannot date from later than 1907, as on 18 November that year G&T dropped the "Typewriter" from it's name and reverted to being The Gramophone Company Ltd.
