The Raymond Dance Band ~ Happy Go Lucky Lane

Post by bart1927 »

Here's another 78 from my small collection, transferred using that wonderful piece of technology, the KAB Souvenir VSP. It's on the British Regal label, a budget label owned by Columbia, if I'm not mistaken. Sometimes they're even laminated pressings, just like Viva-Tonals. Not in this case, though.

The Raymond Dance Band is obviously a pseudonym, but I'm not sure for which orchestra. It could be Ben Selvin's.

Here's the Raymond Dance Band, playing "Happy Go Lucky Lane" on Regal G917, recorded somewhere in 1928.
