Not my usual dance band stuff this time, but a blues record. A nice acoustic recording, made more than 90 years ago! I wonder if my cd's will sound as good in about 90 years, I think they will be unplayable by then, and turned yellow or even transparent (I've seen it happen!).

Funny, here I am transferring my 78's to cd and mp3 but there's a good chance the 78 will be the more durable format. It's a bit like those people who transferred their old 8 mm movies to vhs in the '80's and '90's.

Still, mp3 is a very convenient format to spread the music and reach new audiences.
