Wow! That's been on my want list for YEARS!!!
The version I'm aware of (the same used in "PFH") is by Ambrose. I've seen the HMV 78 of it and the BBC TV series CD soundtrack for "Pennies From Heaven" credits Ambrose (who my oldest cat is named after...)
Now I know this exists on a domestic issue! Awesome!
This would be in Rust's Bristish Dance Band Discography, I'm sure. The only Rust I haven't got! Maybe somebody else here can verify for certain...

Excellent!
Now, yes, my vote is that Sam Browne and the Carlyle Cousins are the vocalists as well, Sam Browne was on many Ambrose discs at the time and this sure sounds like him, so it makes perfect sense.
I'm going to have to look for a copy of this in Wayne on Sunday now that I know it was issued here!
