New cylinder acquisition. How'd I do? UPDATED

Post by GrafonolaG50 »

My mother just picked up 100-150 cylinders for 100 bucks. None broken or super moldy from what she says. How'd I do. Total impulse and hoping i didn' screw myself.

That is a steal. Great going... If there are a lot of wax ones it will really be a good score. Tom B

Update: lots of comic songs, sentimental songs, and coon songs. But there was also:
Take Me Out to the Ballgame on Gold Moulded, Joy to the World on Blue Amberol, Shine On Harvest Moon (Jones and Murray) on gold moulded, and Nearer My God to Thee on Blue Amberol by the Knickerbocker Quartet

Mom found these all in the same antique shop. She said the shop owner told her that he planned to TOSS THE RECORDS and use the boxes for crafts

"Take me out to the ballgame" made your purchase worthwhile, no matter what else you got...
