The vocalist is unnamed on this recording, which is just as well, since he's nearly drowned out by the caterwauling violinist. Still, a nice rendition of this tune.

Harry Macdonough is the vocalist on Peggy. This was the last record that he ever recorded, bringing to a close a very successful singing career that dated back to late '98.

Now that you mention it, that could well be Harry Macdonough. I'm not used to thinking of him in a setting like that. And it's his last recording too, interesting, thanks for the information. :coffee:
