Just one thread, if not a seasonal subsection, wherein we can post vintage recordings of Christmas music.
If there is, I'll start:

Great Posts. Thanks vivatonal, Shane. Just one suggestion. Vivatotal why don't you rename your thread something like. "Christmas Music, Pls. post your updates here!" If people like Shane post from time to time it will keep the thread at the top of the category thru the holidays. I'll try to post a few too, although I don't have alot.
Happy holidays! Valecnik

Great idea! Done. Perhaps an admin could make it a 'sticky'?Valecnik wrote:Great Posts. Thanks vivatonal, Shane. Just one suggestion. Vivatotal why don't you rename your thread something like. One more. Christmas carols played by the bells of Old Trinity Church in New York on Edison Diamond Disc. Played on the A150.

All of these videos are really getting me in the mood for Christmas!
I think I'll have to upload my copy of the Diamond Disc "O, Holy Night" on YouTube...
Paal.

I'll add the colour commentary: here's Peter Dawson who sings on Shane's cylinder. And a good Aussie lad he was. I love his voice. This is a Will's cigarette card which dates from about 1934 in their series of Radio Celebrities....but they DO mention his records.
