I was happy to hear how clean my copy of Poor Butterfly by Fritz Kreisler was. It made for a very nice transfer especially for a 1917 acoustic recording. Perhaps not the most exciting version of the song ever recorded, but likely the best classically trained version there will ever be. Anyway, I like it and I hope some of you will too.

Kreisler has always been one of my favorite violinists.
