know who the girl singer on this record is ??..... my GF bought some records one saturday and thought since it was a scroll victor she would buy it for me ,I was playing other stuff and she put it on ! the record was only in the catalog from 11/18/36 to 1/20/37 not bad for a buck

That’s Ella Fitzgerald, if I remember correctly!
Fitzgerald had an exclusive contract with Decca and when they complained, Victor pulled the disk..

yep .....My copy is a scroll but i guess it xame as a double circle too ,wonder how many were pressed

Benny tried out Jimmy Rushing on one Victor disc also but that didn't work out either as he was a Decca artist at the time as well.

well she has found quite a few records that were good !and she can cook!.....well (sometimes)
