Haenschen recorded as Fenton, but he never changed his name. When the band made appearances in ballrooms ti was led by Reuben "Rudy" Greenberg and after Haenschen left Brunswick in 1927 Greenberg bought the rights to the Fenton name and in 1932 he legaly changed his name. Haenschen continued to work under his own name
