The Elliotts- Trail of the lonesome pine - Edison bell 30366

Post by kirtley2012 »

This cylinder was amongst the last for Edison Bell, recorded very late for a 2 minute cylinder in a time when Edison amberol 4 minute records had been out in the USA for 6 years and blue amberol records had been out for 2 years.
2 minute cylinder records were practically obsolete when this cylinder was recorded on the 15th of November 1913 and released in January of 1914, but it is however a nice version of a song still very well known to this day.

Played on an Edison standard A phonograph with model C reproducer.
