I found the set I'm looking for on ebay, but it's described is VG condition which usually means not so good. I'm keeping my eye open for one just like it, but I will hold out for a E- condition at minimum. I have purchased VG records that turned out to be terrible and others that were great. It seems to be less of a crap shoot to go for the E records.

What you say is true. Some sellers put VG just to protect themselves from very finicky buyers, and other VG records are worn out. Too bad the seller doesn't show the record grooves. If you ever go to old record swap meets, these albums are not too hard to find.
