In the popular series, electric recording starts at 52089. There are a few classical and "ethnic" discs that are electrically recorded too.
There's no true electric recording on Edison cylinders. Cylinders were acoustically dubbed from Diamond Discs starting around 1914 or 1915. Some cylinders numbered 5650 and higher may have been electrically dubbed, but it is not clear which ones were or weren't

Indeed, council seems to be out on this one.52089 wrote: Some cylinders numbered 5650 and higher may have been electrically dubbed, but it is not clear which ones were or weren't
Heard claims of BA's being all acoustically dubbed and also that some late ones were electrical dubbings.
