Thanks for sharing the video. This was a powerful message from Mr. Edison. Several years ago there were reproduction paper sleeves offered for these records. The sleeve is colorful. I had bought one for mine as most are missing.
There is nothing like the Edison.

I had to share this. Since this past Nov. 11th marked the 100th anniversary, of the signing of the Armistice. To end the First World War.

Hmm my copy is an etched label. Did they do them over when paper labels came about? So would those be considered originals/reproductions?

The Diamond Discs were dubbed, from Cylinder Records. So, my copy is a copy of a copy of a dub.

I had one with a paper label, but the label was loose and you could see that Edison just glued the paper label over the etched part of the record. Kind of funny really, but I suppose they wanted the records to look new.

I know of no instances where a Diamond Disc was dubbed from a cylinder. Edison starting dubbing cylinders from Diamond Discs in late 1914 IIRC, but never the other way around. What is the source of your information?
