Miss-Labeled 7" Oxford Record

Post by Zwebie »

Oxford 7” Record #346, Any Old Place I Can Hang My Hat Is Home Sweet Home To Me, by Bob Roberts, ca. 1901-Oct. 1905.
This record is Miss-Labeled as #602, Down On The Suwanee River, by Orchestra.
One of those oddities that must have slipped thru quality control, or possibly a joke by one of the workers?

One of those slip-ups at the factory, obviously.

I have a mislabeled 7" Victor like that: "Rip Van Winkle Was a Lucky Man", labeled as "Wearing Of the Green".
