Al Bowlly Time Machine

I believe that this was posted several years ago, but I think it is a fascinating creation worthy of reviewing. Alexey Zakharov, a Russian artist, has brought to life 2D photos from Shorpy by converting them to 3D and animating them with a period soundtrack. It's an amazing piece of work which creates the effect of a time machine... I thought it would be of interest to resurrect this, especially for new members of the Forum who may not have seen this before... Click on "Full Screen" for the best viewing...

That video was amazing and so much fun to watch. Thanks Curt.

I went back to see how it was done and found the link to the source images. I did a search for phonographs and saw this and a few others you can see here.

Seems like I've seen this before but thanks for the refresher course. Al Bowlly is my favorite singer of all time. Just great music for the video. Thanks Curt.

Great piece, thanks for posting! Interesting also to read the interview and learn a little bit about the whole process.

The young lady seems to adore her record.
