What's the name of this Classical music?

This is possibly a "personal" recording, made between 1921/25, from a sample record.
The matrix number of P-215-2 on a disc by Electric Recording Lab in NYC.
It's a very nice classical piano piece. Does anyone recognize the music being played?

Thanks,

Theme and Variations on "My Heart Belongs To Daddy?"
That's what the first few notes of the melody reminded me of!
No clue what it really is though!

I know a lot of classical piano music but I don't know this piece. I know it isn't My Heart belongs to Daddy! It sounds like something from the Romantic era and could be by someone like Schumann, Chopin, Liszt, or Rachmaninoff.

Almost sounds like someone improvising just to see what the record would sound like. I don't really hear any composer I can recognize in the playing. If it is a real piece of music it must be some modern experimental composer of the time. But hey, since we don't know we all may be wrong.

It makes me think of Liszt in places, but it's no piece I've ever heard before either.
