Greetings to all!
I am a collector of records of Alexander Vertinsky from Russia.
This is a very interesting Russian artist. For our stage, he created a completely new genre in russian music, influenced a lot of musical trends. His poems are considered by many to be beautiful. But even better is how he performed them.
Even the most memorable and vivid songs he made brilliant.
He sang only in Russian, so it is unlikely that many people are interested outside of Russia. However, he spent the most active creative years in Europe and America. Recorded far from home, mainly on labels Parlofon, Columbia.
Most of all to me, and many other admirers of this artist, I want to find songs published on records of the brand "Tour de FOX". There should be a lot of them in America, they were published there, to accompany the concert tour of this artist.
If any of you come across such records, please write me. My e-mail is: rrracionale@gmail.com
I am ready to buy such records, or exchange for something, possibly interesting for you, from Russia.
Help find the "Tour de FOX" discs.

I do not have any of his records, but I did find the following ebay auction out of Sophia, Blugaria. https://ebay.us/xn82J2
And, this one out of Japan. https://ebay.us/tdURpC
There is one in Estonia. https://ebay.us/S81kkv
Here is one in Moscow, Russia. https://ebay.us/DOs4o6
There are also others, but none I could find in the USA. Seems to be Russian and Eastern Europe at least on Ebay. Good luck with your seach!

Re: Help find the "Tour de FOX" discs.
I wish you luck for your search. In Spain never found such records.
But I found one record by the piano player accompanist in your example, Valdemar Padwa, who at certain stage of his life was involved with the Bechstein piano makers from Germany. My only example is a demonstration record of the Neo-Bechstein piano, kind of electronic synthetizer instrument, played by him.

Thank you so much for searching for me!melvind wrote:I do not have any of his records, but I did find the following ebay auction...
But I’m searching for exactly the discs of the label "Tour de FOX".
Records of another label are found in Russia.
Thank! This is very interesting to me. I don't know anything about Valdemar Padwa. And we know very little about the mysterious Tour de FOX records. All that is known is based on conjectures, logical conclusions.Inigo wrote:I wish you luck for your search. In Spain never found such records...
They are not in the official list of records of Vertinsky, not in the catalogs.
Perhaps the life of the Padwa would help to understand the details of this collaboration.
