Hello! I just joined and wanted to post something. Here's a good fox trot by The Troubadours:
"Dream Kisses" Fox Trot (The Troubadours) VE 21000B
Recorded directly off an Edison C2 horseshoe pickup with a soft tone steel needle and just a little equalization adjustment. Enjoy!

Hi Bob, great to see you here Great tune...I like this band and have a few of their disks myself. They do really good hot arrangements in their recordings. Nice transfer too. I can't beleive that this is from a period pickup!

One of my favorites too. I have the same record on Victor.... somewhere. Have not heard it for years though. Just brought a whole bunch back from MN to my home in Czech Rep. I hope this is in the bunch.

Bob,
Great transfer, thank you. I too have a very worn copy of that somewhere I think. Now I can hear what it's supposed to sound like.
Regards,
John
