Model Ts had electric starters beginning in 1919. Even so, initial supply shortages forced the sale of some 1919's without starters and generators. My grandfather's was one such. I have a letter somewhere, addressed to him, stating that an ample supply of starters and generators were now in-stock, should he want them added to his T.epigramophone wrote: ↑Wed Feb 07, 2024 8:38 am Slightly off topic, here she is trying to start her Model T, but why is she using the starting handle?
The black radiator tells us that the car is 1917 or later, by which time Model T's had electric starting and lighting.

The plaque reads NY 1919...
Maybe the car has a phonograph inside, like Laurel and Hardy's... And it was a Zono...?

Re: ada jones question
Have you seen "Liberty"(1929)??? I recommend it to you .. one of the funniest I've ever seen... Besides that, it has a scene where Hardy jumps over a Victrola and a pile of 78s... and the scenes at the top of a building under construction...
