If we wanted to listen, do we have to guess where to find them?phonograph guy3435 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 18, 2024 8:00 am i got 2 new cylinder videos out. songs of other days no.1 and peaches and cream.

Re: YAY
Your machine does have a speed control but it's hidden. Unscrew the gear cover at the rear on the left side and you'll see an adjustment screw. Tighten and loosen it slightly to adjust the speed.phonograph guy3435 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 18, 2024 9:43 pm thanks! mine doesnt have any speed controls on it and the beginning of the last one is just naturally fast i think.
Your best bet for determining the rpm is to buy one of the cheap Chinese non-contact tachometers you can find for about $15 on eBay and Amazon. Use that to adjust your machine to 160 rpm. You'll probably only ever need to do that once.
The Amberola 30/50/75 had a speed adjustment knob, but Edison removed it since all 4M cylinders (except language cylinders) play at 160.
