Here is another really crazy one. The Title bears explanation so here goes.
The Clocking referred to in the song is the decorative embroidered portion of a ladies stocking that was around her ankles. Obviously a very attractive and eye catching sight for men to behold. My favorite verse in the song is the last one, where the burglar, distracted by the beauty of the sleeping old Maid's "Clocking" is distracted long enough for her to grab her gun and threaten him with a fate worse than death!! Heh,Heh. The Cylinder is 108 years Old last Month and the quality is far from perfect, but the Song is alot of fun.
