I think a coat of perfect brown on the rest of the cabinet would really bring it to life.

Your grill work is stunning! The machine is coming along nicely. I wish I had your talent! I am anxiously awaiting the "feet" work. It is good karma that a phonograph of that caliber was acquired by such capable hands (it SHOWS)! I know it is addressed on your other thread, I would not use any grill clothe. I would want that horn showing. Just a thought. It is your machine to do as You see fit. It will be wonderful with or without a grill clothe. Thanks for the posts! Steve

I was thinking of a little clear or color but the finish is so nice that I dont want to mess with it.
I would rather have it a little imperfect than ruin the 104 year old finish...

I will not be putting in grill cloth so not worries there...
The feet will be something of a project but thanks for the kind words...
