Copper will sound the best with molded cylinders. Earlier reproducers intended to play brown wax used glass diaphragms.

does the same apply to model H 4 min reproducers? Is it still better on blue amberols etc? Thinking of rebuilding 2 of my H's.

I have never seen anything but a copper diaphragm used in a model H, so there's your answer!
