Leather Belting Beveling Tool

Post by Phono-Phan »

I have made up a handy tool to taper the ends of leather belting before gluing them together. It really helps avoid cutting your fingers with a razor blade and ensures a good tapered end. It is best to hold the tool in a vise but it also works well just holding it down when cutting the leather. The groove cut in the block is wide enough for the wider Columbia belting. I am selling them in the Yankee Trader section and will have some at the Union Phonograph show next weekend.
