Removal of heavy smoke damage

I am working on a pre-dog MS case. The case is very solid but has heavy smoke damage. What is recommended short of a complete strip and refinish job? The original finish under the brake is nice.
Thanks for any advice.

First try GOOP or GoJo, either one should remove a majority of that grunge without stripping.

New Life Furniture Masque. More expensive than Goop or GoJo but it does the trick. Also Kramers.

I have used GOOP in the past but this smoke damage is pretty bad. I will have to try it in a small spot. If that doesn't cut it, I'll search for the other products. It will be hard to get into all the small crevices of the MS.
Thanks for the advice.

Talk to the people at Firedex, they do insurance restorations for fire damage. They may have some sort of magic potion for your cabinet.
