Hey guys, thanks for the great ideas. I'm going to go with sandpaper (with a block of course) because I've thrown everything I could at it and the glue has been absolutely unaffected. I've tried super-hot water, Acetone, mineral spirits, alcohol, and whatever else I had and that glue stays as hard as a rock.
I'll carefully start with either 80 or 100 on a block and see how I do with it.
