Pathé Spring Grease

Hey all,
Was just wondering if this mixture would work well with the smaller Pathé phonograph springs.
-Natural Graphite Powder / Flakes Micronized 5 Micron mixed into Moly Lithium CV grease
Or should I just go the traditional route of petroleum jelly and graphite flake.
Just wondering what would work better on smaller springs. I tried Mobil One Synthetic gear grease and it did not work well on these smaller springs. Worked like a charm on my VV-XVI and XIV!!
