Hey yall! So I have several cylinder records and they’re obviously not as easily stored as flat records are. I looked up cylinder storage cases on eBay and the vintage ones are very expensive! I’ve been searching to no avail on how to make my own for an economical price! I was thinking maybe a larger shoebox with cut paper towel rolls. What do y’all think?

Period cylinder storage cabinets are almost non-existent here in the UK, but a chest of drawers is a practical alternative.

get a cheap nightstand or small chest of drawer from Craig's List or bargain/thrift shop and convert it for a temporary solution..

make sure it is priced very cheap cause an original cylinder cabinet will show up shortly after you conversion..guaranteed
