Disassembling a Diamond reproducer generally goes like this:

- Remove the pivot screw for the weight

- Pull out the stylus bar pin with needle nose pliers

- Remove the weight

- Unhook the stylus bar from the cord

- Unscrew the compression ring (use a flat piece of metal that will fit in the two notches)

- Remove the little ring that protects the gaskets

- Remove the diaphragm and gaskets (if it's hard to get out, blow gently down the neck of the reproducer).

Reassembly is the same steps in reverse order. (Note: when screwing the compression ring back in, do not over tighten it: just enough to make it airtight).
