Mica or copper diaphragm in columbia lyric?

Which would sound better in my Columbia lyric reproducer for my BQ?

Originally, these used Mica. Later on, a ribbed, blackened, Aluminum diaphragm was used. I don't think Lyric reproducers used Copper.

my original diaphragm was mica and is damaged so i was wondering if i could use a model c copper diaphragm as a replacement?

If this were my machine, I would use the Mica as originally issued. You could use copper, but it is not correct. Ron Siko sell the Mica and possibly the pleated Aluminum Diaphragms.
