Can someone suggest the easiest way to remove the nickel plating from a Columbia tone arm?

CASWELL sells a nickel removing formulation. It’s a powder. You have to bring it up to 110 degrees Fahrenheit, and immerse your part in it. It removed ONLY the nickel. Will not harm brass, or steel. I have a bunch of it here, and would ship you some, but it looks like another type of white powder that shouldn’t be mailed!

If this is an aluminum arm, the bad nickel peels right off, After the nickel is removed, then I polish the arm with 0000 steel wool. Then I use Mother's Mag for the final polish. This can be bought at any good auto store.
