Hello again:
The Garrard Number 7a motor I have has an oil bath reservoir, long dried up. What grade and type oil should be used?
The photo below shows the wick and pad with the cover removed (with motor upside down).
Hope someone has some good info! Thanks.

I've since realized my motor isn't strictly the oil-bath kind, but the lubricants recommended should work just fine.

I would use this https://www.amsoil.com/shop/by-product/ ... e=XLZQT-EA or this http://www.royalpurpleconsumer.com/prod ... ion-fluid/ the royal is light wight and would be the best, it is like sewing machine oil light weight and I use it on my machine for years hope this helps.
