I always use Kroil out of habit, but WD-40 is NOT a penetrating lubricant. It’s a rust-preventative that leaves a gummy mess behind after the naphtha evaporates.

Nice clips. However, in the first one he re-discovered hot water: bi-component glues are by no means comparable to ready-to-use glues. It's really no surprise that a bi-component glue won hands down.

His findings in the second clip diverge greatly with my personal everyday experience. In many cases I could remove bolts or screws with almost no force, which were impossible to remove without breaking the bolt or stripping the thread or mar the notch. In most cases, however, I sprayed the compound repeated times (not just once) and let it sit for one or more days (and not just one hour).
