I have been posting YouTube videos of recordings for a few years. 90% of them are from 78 rpm records, though there are some radio transcriptions and a few old 33 rpm Victor 'Program Transcriptions'. You can listen and watch the records play at:

http://www.youtube.com/user/cdbpdx/videos (Mainstream/Misc music)

http://www.youtube.com/user/VintageLatinMusic/videos (Latin music)

http://www.youtube.com/user/VintageArabicMusic/videos (Arabic music)

http://www.youtube.com/user/VintageJapaneseMusic/videos (Japanese music)

http://www.youtube.com/user/VintageItalianMusic/videos (Italian music)

http://www.youtube.com/user/VintageGreekMusic/videos (Greek music)

Enjoy! CDB

Slightly off the topic, but here is a very enlightening link about YouTube, and the source of the problems some of us have had with it:

This is my you tube channel, it has quite a bit of technical information on shaving cylinders, and information on the development of the formula, and recording cylinders. I will be adding repair videos, experiments, recording sessions (some may be analog or digital, and of course wax cylinders and some non phonograph related things as well.

And mine:

I have a lot of opera on wax Amberol and Diamond Disc, an above average Royal Purple Amberol, a pink Lambert, and lots more; evena few fox trots. I have about 20 more Diamond Discs to record and I just got a really nice group of Pathés including a center start. I hope to have some of those up soon.

Well, it looks as if YouTube is going into a death spiral.

Now that they have forced Google+ down our throats, it is impossible to comment on videos, and it is harder to view longer videos except in small bites.

Who else is with me? SIGN THIS PETITION:

http://www.change.org/petitions/google- ... e_petition

11/17/13: I have made the decision to fight back against Google by relisting all my videos, except for those concerning the recent outrages, as 'Private'.

That means Google can no longer make a PENNY of profit from them, while they must STILL pay for their storage. I will still provide links to those who wish to view them, if possible.

If enough users follow these tactics, we can hit them where it HURTS.

UPDATE 11/18/13: I have now opened a page on Dailymotion where I will be reposting videos:
