The Victor V I had for years and sold last spring was that red oak color as well. I've seen a few other machines just like it.

I still have the oak record cabinet I bought separately from the above Vic V and it is the red oak color on the outside, but more golden on the inside. I don't know if someone redid the outside years ago or if what I call "red oak" was a known factory variant for Victors and this cabinet was finished to match when it was built. Odd that it's a different color inside, though. This cabinet fits the Vic V footprint exactly.

According to the Victor Victrola site, this Victrola was manufactured in 1912.
